Not electing Marianne Williamson President of the United States was one of the biggest missed opportunities for re-setting the country's course in fulfilling "America's Declaration for Democracy" and a world that works for all.
It is not too late. As Ms. Williamson told us, "we need a whole uprising of consciousness among the American people..."
"In order to override the real assault, the systemic assult on our democracy, we need to do more than fight, we need to fall in love again with what this country can mean."
INDEED, "This is not something that any one person can go to Washington and just make happen. New paradigm leadership is not about saying I'll do it send me to Washington, new paradigm leadership is where the leader is holding the space for the brilliance of others".
Let's take responsibility for the fact that none of the changes we want to see, are going to happen unless "ALL OF US RISE UP."
If you are living in the United States, or elsewhere, that's you my friends.
Let's do this.
"...Our hope lies in this…Society doesn’t change because the majority of people wake up one day and think differently; it changes because a small group of people, usually considered radicals by the status quo of their time, have a better idea. "
"Don’t despair about the numbers of people who don’t agree with you; just think of ways to conspire more creatively with those who do. Social change doesn’t occur on a horizontal axis but on a vertical one."
"Don’t think in terms of what you think people will hear, think in terms of what you think needs to be said and then say it."
"Don’t water down the message of your heart to get more people to agree with you; just go as deep as you can with your message so those who can hear you really do."
"We don’t need the majority; we need a critical mass - a critical mass of those who so love the world that we miraculously turn the tide. “Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.” – Arundhati Roy"
